About Me

I am Leon Kalaitzidis, PGA Professional and passionate golf coach. My experience from competitive play and thorough training forms the foundation of my individual coaching for every skill level.

My Story

My passion for golf began very early: at four years old, I stood on a golf course for the first time with my grandfather – the westernmost golf course in Europe, Ceann Sibéal, on the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. Back then, I had no idea how much that moment would shape my life. Since that day, golf has been not just a sport for me, but a part of my life.

My Journey

In my youth, I played for various teams at ETUF and later for GC Hösel. Through participation in numerous DGV ranking tournaments, I deepened my understanding of the game in all areas. My journey eventually led me to the 1st Bundesliga, where I represented GC Hösel in the German Golf League. It was there that I developed the desire to pass on my knowledge, and so I began my PGA coaching training at Golfschule Niesing.

All these experiences flow into my coaching today – in both recreational and competitive golf.
